Sweet little chocolate box for Valentine's Day

Here's a sweet little chocolate box for Valentine's Day, I will fill it with delicious truffle chocolates. The box is made using a Digital Cutter File, RM00114 Miniature Chocolates Box I made a small change to the window lid, I put two hearts in the area of the rectangle, flush with the outer edges of the rectangle and then took away the rectangle before the cutout. The flowers on the lid has heart-shaped petals fitting for the box with another Digital Cutter File, RM00090 3D Flower The paper spirals, I made by cutting thin strips of the same patterned paper that the box was created with and apply them with glue and wrapped them around a barbecue stick ... loosen it before the glue dried and wrap it around the stick again ... remove it carefully from the stick and let dry completely. The small hearts are pucked out and going to look like confetti and there for got some glitter glue on them.

RM00133 Valentine Cupcake Wrappers

I am so honored and excited to be the guest artist for this month. I really enjoyed playing with Sharon's die cuts!

I am a mixed-media artist so what I create might be a little different. I LOVE altered art! The project below is designed from RM00133, Valentine Cupcake Wrappers. This is such a versatile kit and there is so much you can create beyond cupcake wrappers. I took the challenge to design something unusual but yet at the same time something everyone would love to have.

The project was done with a $1.00 journal binder I found. I like Michael's $1 bin or even the dollar store, or Tuesday Morning has bargins to snatch up for art projects! The tag is a pre-printed tag that I embellished with marker.

Now- I took the Cupcake Wrapper die cut but didn't cut it to full size!!! Please play with your die cuts and think outside the box. The tabs were cut off the ends of the "Valentine" cupcake wrapper and I used it as an element. Also, the scalloped circle was used for the perfect back drop for the collage image that was added. One of the hearts was added for an accent. Ribbon bound on the top of the tag. A little adhesive, some layering, and viola' you have a lovely gift that was so easy to make!

You can give this gift with some cupcakes and wrap those cupcakes with the Valentine Wrappers cut at normal size. You can make many of these gifts fast and easy! The software I use allows me to delete or cut and paste parts of the svg, also duplicate so fast and easy to make 5, 10, or more of the designs for this project.

Valentine's Day is approaching quickly....here is an idea sure to please anyone you give this gift to.

Hi! Chrissie here today and I have a really cute card for you. I decided to use Sharon's RM00126 New House Card and turn it into a Valentine's Day card!

This was such a fun file to use! I thought this was a great Valentine's Day card. I also used a scalloped die I had and ran it through my Cuttlebug to create the shingles.

The LOVE stamp is from SP & Company's I Love Love. I think the birdie is the perfect touch (a Papertrey Ink stamp)!

Cup Cake Basket

Hi and Happy New Year's!
I know Valentine's Day might seem far away, but it's really not! Today I have a cute little box I made that was really simple. It's perfect for some Hershey kisses or even a little love note. :-) I used Sharon's RM00119 Calla Lily Flower file to decorate the box (the box was a freebie I found online a few weeks back). And yes, I know Calla Lillies are white, but I didn't necessarily want these to look just like normal Calla Lillies (where's the fun in that?!). So, I pulled out my Copics and made them pink. I added some glue and glitter to the edges. Perfect for Valentine's Day!

I added some American Crafts ribbon to the top, too, just for that extra zing. I think this is a sweet and fun box, very easy to mass produce for Valentine's Day. Those flowers are just the perfect finishing touch!!!

Here I'm with this beautiful 3D Poinsettia Cutter File RM00107 , I did not wanted to have a red poinsettia, so I decided to made it brown, I hope you like it!!!

Then, I was thinking what to do with it, it came to my mind this idea....... I used homemade glimmer mist.

You can use this 3D Poinsettia RM00107 in a candle like I did, in a box as a gift, in a Christmas wreath, you can give many uses to this file.

Ornament Card -- RM00163

Good morning! Here is another card I created for Christmas. I used Sharon's Christmas Cards 2 - RM00163 She has a special going on currently, if you purchase Christmas Cards 1 and 2 you will receive the Bag of Coal file for free!

I love these cards, with multiple layers (7) you can create a different look each time.

The larger inside mat that is showing through to the front, I applied red Stickles to the berries. You can use double sided paper so you have one pattern showing through to the front and a different pattern on the inside.

This is the inside of the card which shows the other side of the pattern paper. Sharon also includes 2 additional inside mats, used only one. I used a Martha Stewart punch for the bottom edge, applied photo corners to the top. The branch, berries, and pine are stamps from Martha Stewart also. Christmas Blessings is a stamp from Punkin Patch Stamps.

A close-up view of the ornament, which I applied Stickles to the outer edges of. For my flower on the front top of the card, I crochetted the white base, added 2 flowers with a sequin and red Stickles applied to the center. The leaves were leftovers from another project and I'm not sure who they belong to. LOL I did not mark the bag they were in.

Hi!
I hope you are having a good weekend so far. Since the shopping season is upon us, I decided to create a fun gift card box using two of Sharon's Designs (RM00114 Miniature Chocolate Box and RM00028 Snowflakes Title) that worked perfectly together.

I increased the size of the Mini Chocolate box to fit a standard gift card (they are generally 3.5 x 2) and I removed the window Sharon created and replaced it with one of her beautiful snowflakes. Then, I cut a few more snowflakes to add to the top of the box.

I stamped other snowflakes onto the box using SP & Company's Christmas Medley set. I stamped them first with some PTI Tea Dye Duo ink and then topped it off with Fresh Snow. I like the effect it gave.

For the snowflakes, I ran them through my Xyron and then covered them with glitter. I also placed some vellum behind the snowflake "window" and added a little bling to it. That cute "Be Merry" sentiment is from The Cutest Gingerbread Man stamp set.

So many people on my Holiday Shopping list requested gift cards, so I think this makes it just a little more personal instead of just throwing the card into a bag or an envelope. It was so easy and inexpensive to do, too!!!

Bird House - Cardinal Christmas - RM00030

Today I'm sharing a bird house I made using Sharon's Cardinal Christmas File. I cut him in pink just to be different, LOL I used some foam mounting tape to pop the wings. I like how Sharon has designed the holly, the 3 leaves are connected for easier placement on your project. I also used foam mounting tape on the branch and holly. The bird house is a file I created with permission from Betty. You can download it Here

I used the Ballet Paper Stack from Michael's. There is 2 glittered music sheets included in the stack, I used it for the roof because I love to hear the Cardinals Sing.

I was short 2 small pearls for my flowers, so I will be going to AC's to pick them up today :) . I have the larger size one but wanted the small one. If they don't have any left, I will just apply a large one to the center of my flowers on each side of the roof. I'm going to give this to my mom for one of her birthday presents, her birthday is the 14th of Dec.

Hi there!
Today I have a rustic-inspired card and matching tag. As soon as I saw the Wedding Ring Quilt Mesh File (RM00118), I knew it would be the perfect background for a card using Kraft stock.

I dry brushed some white acrylic paint onto the base and the die cut and then adhered them together. I stamped cute little snowflakes (SP & Company's Christmas Medley Set) on the 'open' areas in white ink. But after I had the sentiment (SP & Company's Cutest Gingerbread Man Set) and banner all cut out and ready to go, it felt like something was missing. I knew it needed a poinsettia and I also happened to know that there is an amazing 3D Poinsettia Set in Sharon's store (RM00107). So, I cut the poinsettia out on the Silhouette, using vellum. I used some Copics to give the centers some color and then I dipped the edges of the flower in red glitter.

For the tag, I did the same steps and techniques as the card, I just did some of the things on a smaller scale.

The banner is the same as the one above, but I actually folded the middle over so it would be the size I needed. :-) I added some button twine for the finishing touch and voila! DONE!

I created this tag set using Sharon's Lace Up Stocking, RM00129 and her 3D Pointsettia and Tag Set, RM00107.

I inked all edges in brown except for the flower. I weaved some ribbon along the edge of the stocking, and Sharon already has the cutting holes in the file. For the Poinsettia, I used my stylus to add some curve to the petals and leaves. I also used some Foam Mounting tape to give some dimension. I applied some Stickles to the centers.

Miniature Chocolate Box

Here is my first project for the CT and I choose to do the Miniature Chocolate Box RM00114 file, as you can se in the prior post Krafthead made a tissue box with style, beautiful!!!!.
I choose to make a chocolate box and be prepare for Christmas time!!!

I like this RM00114 files, is very easy to put together and looks beautiful.

You can put 8 mini chocolates inside the box.

Here is the empty box, you can fill it with wherever comes to your mind.

Here also comes the svg file to wrap the chocolates. Fun and beautiful!!

Tissue Box With Style

Hello Everyone!

It is Krafthead here to share with you a project I made using RM00114 and RM00090. The miniature box was originally used for candies. However, since it is cold season, I thought it would be a cute idea to make a tissue box with it instead. This box fits pocket sized tissues perfectly! I used acetate at the top and cut a slit to access the tissues or you can just lift the top on and off as needed. To embellish it, I used some black lace from my stash and some black flat back pearls. The flourishes were made using Black Diamond Stickles and the Bazzill Fantasy Flourish Template.

File RM00090 is the flower file which was used to further embellish the box. The flowers were so easy to put together. When getting this file, there is an added bonus….a butterfly! I was so happy when I saw that! So cute!

If you are giving as a gift as a tissue box, I would recommend sealing the box with Mod Podge to strengthen it a bit. Also, use a thick and or sturdy cardstock.

There are so many things that can be done with RM00114! You can make it a cute care package for someone by adding a few tissues and a packet of tea…..or give as favors at a wedding. The sky is truly the limit. RM00090 makes gorgeous 3D flowers!

I thought I had posted my project, oops. LOL

For my bag project, I used Sharon's Spider Web Frames and Borders File, RM00158. The roses I chalked purple and then sprayed them to set the chalk. I sprinkled some of Martha Stewart's Mirco beads on the roses.

On the corner bats, I applied some purple Stickles. I also used some of Ranger's Liquid Pearl's on the center half of the spider webs. The bag I believe is from Big Lots and the little ghosts is from K&C0MPANY.

My frames is cut at 4.25 x 5.5 inches and the center border and mat are cut at a little under 4 inches.

My name is Chrissie and I'm the newest member of the Creative Team! I am really, really excited to be here! By day, I am a Graphic Designer for a small print shop near Chicago. After work, I love all things scrappy, especially my Silhouette!!!! I have two kids, a very tolerant husband (would you believe he actually comes with me to most of my craft store trips??!!! It's probably to keep tabs on what I spend, but I'd rather think he's just interested in my hobby!) and a wacky Husky that loves to lay at my feet while I scrap.

So, enough about me! I have a project to share with you today!!!! As soon as I found out I was on Sharon's CT (squeal!!!), I got started immediately with a Halloween project! I fell in love with her Luminary Designs instantly and had to get my hands on one!!! I was not disappointed when I ran this baby through my Silhouette. I. AM. IN. LOVE. with those little bats!!!!

To create it, I simply ran black cardstock through my Silhouette. Then, I used my Glue Pad and make sure the entire surface was sticky. I brushed orange Perfect Pearls all over it. It gives it a faux metallic look. I wanted it to look like it had been weathered, so I used a Q-Tip with white ink and brushed it over the web side. I did the same technique with black ink for the bats. Below, you can see more detail with a bright light shining on it (and click the image to enlarge it for more detail, too!):

After the base was complete, I cut and attached some vellum (we call it Glama in the print world) stock to the inside of the piece. Then I placed scor-tape around the top and bottom and doused it with a deep red glitter (glitter is like the bacon of the scrap world. To me, everything is better with glitter!). I glued a pom-pom to the little spider (oh, yes, he comes with this set - he's super cute!) and adhered him to the side of the web. After I glued the edges together to made it stand up, I folded the wings of all of the bats. Just a little touch to make it even more interesting to look at.

I am going to place this guy in my bay window in the front of my house for everyone to see it on Halloween! Honestly, even if you don't want to decorate it all fancy, just cutting it out and gluing the edges together with nothing else on it makes a really cool (and easy) Halloween decoration. If you are a procrastinator and aren't 100% ready for Halloween yet (GUILTY) , this is a quick and easy way to get eye-catching decorations up fast!

Creative Team Project-Name Plate

Hello Everyone!

I’m here to share my first Creative Team project. Since I upload videos to YouTube, I figured it would only be right to make a name plate. I used two cutting files from Sharon’s store. I also used the MTC software and my beloved Gazelle!

For this project, I wanted to incorporate some of my favorite things. I love lilies, especially Calla Lillies! To me, they are the prettiest flowers. When I saw this file (RM00119), I knew I had to use it! File RM00119 was used to make ALL of the flowers! I used distress ink, Copics and a black pen to make the flowers to look a bit more realistic. They were really easy to assemble.

The frame was cut using file RM00155. I cut it out using thick cardstock (it cut very smooth). I painted it white and then used black Crackle Paint for a distressed look.

I added lace to the bottom with a strand of pearls (Karla’s Etsy). I also used the Martha Stewart butterfly punch. I didn’t want to over embellish so I kept this very simple.

*TIP* I recommend misting the pieces to roll the flowers OR taking an embossing tool and distress the petals until they curl***

Newbie Introduction!

Hello Everyone! I go by the name Krafthead because I love everything about crafting! I am the newest Creative Team Member! I am so excited to be making this introduction and working on this team!

I am married to my best friend of 12 years (in December). We have four daughters ages 7, 5, 3, and 1. It is a very busy, yet fulfilling time in our lives. We reside in Wisconsin.

I became interested in scrapbooking back in 2003 when I found out I was pregnant with my oldest. However, life got in the way and four children later I didn’t get serious about it until 2010. I started out making quick digital cards in January of 2010 after going to the store to buy a card and not finding one that was right for the occasion. It was at that point when I realized and vowed I would never buy another store bought card. To date, I have stuck true to my word. The beginning was very rough but I practiced and learned new techniques every day. I have a long ways to go, but have come a long way over the period of time LOL! I love making cards with the occasional layout and/or altered items. I can’t wait to share some of my projects with you all!

Flower Blossoms and Victorian Flourishes

I created this card using Sharon's Victorian Flourishes RM00154 and her Flower Blossoms RM00143 .

I will add a sentiment at a later time, I'm not sure if I will use it for a Get Well or Thank You. I applied some Lime Green Stickles to the Flourishes, added a gem to the inside flowers. I also cut a strip for the flower box and used a Sizzix Embossing Folder and then chalked it. The powder blue background I used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, Paper Lace ll.

The chain link file is Trish Henkel's from the MTC Forum, I created this card for for a challenge on the forum. Additional photos:

The inside mat was created using a Fiskars Punch. I punched the corner out of black paper, then put white paper underneath, scanned and brought it into MTC and did a Pixel trace. Then created the mat using the functions in MTC.

Bird Cage

This was for a challenge on a blog and we were only allowed to use the colors Green and White. I used the flowers from Sharon's Deepest Sympathy Lattice Card, RM00127 and the Leaf Scroll from her Birthday Thinking of You Card, RM00130. This is the Link to Sharon's Store.

As of today, she she has not uploaded the file because she is moving to a new store. Check back often and I'm sure the files will be there soon. She has some of her designs in the store for sale now.

I scrunched up the flowers and used a Gem in the center. I used a Cuttlebug Embossing folder on the leaves at the top of the birdcage. Also, I added some green straw in the cage.

For the bird I cut a strip of clear packaging, made a little tab and glued it to the top inside of the birdcage.

I created this box and note card set using Sharon's Victorian Frames 1, Flower Blossoms 1, and the flourish from Birthday Thinking of You Card. You can purchase the files Here at Sharon's new store.

I took one of the frames and joined it to a rectangle in Make the Cut to form my card. I also cut a pink square and glued it to the inside left of the card. I applied glue to the flourish and sprinkled it with fine glitter. I cut some flower blossoms and adhered them to a Prima Flower and then put some Liquid Perles in the center.

I also used Martha Stewart punch to add a border around the edge of the pink square on the inside of the card to finish it off.

For my box, I cut another flourish and sprinkled it with glitter. I also added a couple little flowers. I cut some rectangles and adhered them to the inside sides of the top and bottom of the box. White ribbon along the top of the box.

Poppy flowers in heart

I have entered this card in the JULY- Die Cut Challenge - July 01 - July 31 over at the Flying Unicorn. One of the theme for the challenge is that you have to use 3 die cuts or more on your project. I have three die cuts on this card.

I used one of Sharon border cutting files, the grass if from Cricut Disney – Pooh and Friends the heart I cut out with my Cricut a long time ago...don't remeber. Stamped oo the red heart with some clearstamp set that I forgot o mark, so I don't now what brand it is. I bleached the heart around the flower, and had some Distress Ink around the edges of the heart.

My mom always has these big parties for all the holidays. It seems it's the only time all of us can get together at the same time with everyone's busy schedules these days. I decided to make her a wall hanging for the party.

I won this months June Grab Bag at the VDBC Store. I used one of the files from the grab bag - July Fireworks Mesh by RSMobleys Designs, File RM00150. Also, I used Sharon's Card Front Tags and More RM00094 for the center mats.

The navy 4th of July mat is cut at 5 inches and resized the rest of the mats accordingly. The white lattice is cut at almost 3 3/4 wide. The mats for the white paper flower are cut slightly over 3 1/2 wide. The elements on the paper flower are from K&CoMPANY called Americana, I applied Glossy Accents to the center star. I also applied Pop Dots on the center mats.

For the ribbon I chose 4 different ones for variety, Lace, Plain White, Red and a Star Patterned. I cut 2 of each and arranged them how I wanted and then stapled them together. I knew glue was not going to hold them and I was afraid the hot glue would be to bulky in the back. I then used Scotch Liquid Fast dry to adhere them to the back of the mats.

I applied some Stickles to the stars on the navy mat and along the edges of the white card stock.

I love the look of the Making Memories Bravissimo Ribbons, and this was my attempt at trying to make one. I think I did ok, LOL

I used Sharon Mobley's File Fancy Mats 2, RM00148 and Fancy Borders 2, RM00145. This is for a challenge on the VDBC Forum, to use either a digital or hand stamped image and color it by hand. I colored my stamp using the Gamsol and Colored Pencil technique. After coloring my stamp I applied some Stickles to the image, I also hand cut the image and applied Scotch Mounting Tape. Attached the ribbons to my cards using Fiskars Glue Dots. The stamp is a Hero Arts Stamp - Hydrangea. I love this stamp and us it frequently. I alsp applied some stickles to the border under the matted stamp, which was cut at 8 inches and trimmed to fit my card.

For the inside of my card I used a Inkadinkado Stamp set called Fancy That, stamped in green ink from Martha Stewart. The mat is one of Sharon's, Fancy Mats 2. It is a square mat but I stretched it out into more of a rectangle slightly to fit my 4 by 5 1/2 card. I cut the mat at 4x5 and as you can see it cut fine, (using my Cricut, no choice right now). I placed my ruler alongside my card to show you how small the holes cut. I find Sharon's files cut well on the Cricut, and as I said before not because I'm on her CT, they just do.

Always - Card - RM00151

RSMobely Designs has such beautiful cutter files, and this last one is no exception. The file is made for any size, so I cut it to be a 5.5x5.5 square to fit on a card, and it cut wonderfully!! It has such elegance, and I love the words in the mat, Always, Cherish, and Love (RM00151).

I cut the file onto a tan cardstock base, then misted it with peach, brown, and hot pink, and blended them all together to have a fun effect.

I then took small pearls and adhered them to the words and the centers of some of the flowers.

The final touch is the little butterflies placed on the card.

RM00153 Baby Mesh

HA! I remembered to title this one! :)

Using Sharon's super cute baby mesh from the June 2011 Grab Bag, this is what I came up with to show off Clay's hours old picture with me. As always, this file cut like butter and weeded SO beautifully that I used regular paper instead of card stock or thicker paper. I'm in AWE of Sharon's ability to do such incredible work so we can have a file that's so wonderful to cut!

I just used green patterned paper on this and took my white gel pen to trace all the inside and outside AND put "stitching" on the bibs, bows on the rattle and the bears. It's kind of hard to see around the mesh but it's there. I also wrote in the white gel pen. Yep, that's my crummy handwriting but I think it makes it more personal this way.

Oh my gosh isn't this cute? I love Sharon's new kitchen mesh! Seriously it could be the easiest card I've ever made and I think it's one of my favorites! It doesn't even need any embellishing really. Just glue the mesh to a card a voile CUTENESS! I made the little salt and pepper shaker on SCAL I think they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself hehe. I then applied some green stickles to the cut to add some bling. I aslo added a flower stamp to the right hand side mat and applied some Stickles on that as well.

Using Sharon's FABULOUS "always cherish love" mesh from the June 2001 Grab Bag, here is what I made to go in a frame and hang in my family room.

I cut it out of patterned paper and then took a black marker to color the words. I think this file is absolutely GORGEOUS that cut wonderfully and weeded beautifully on my KNK Element. I downsized it to 9 x 9 and had NO problems! WOW, this is amazing and I love, love, love the outcome!

Cherish the Moment - Card - Erin R.

I have a wedding this Saturday, and I have been on this card kick for a little while, so I thought what a fun thing to give someone for their wedding, a beautiful handmade card. I used the wonderful cutter file from RSMobely Designs (file RM00142) that is full of fun flowers. I altered a bit from the original design, I layered them with an extra smaller layer and distressed the paper more, but the flower shapes, center, and the leaves are all from the cutter file.

I found this cute little tutorial over at Frosted Designs for a fun little card, and on that card are the little hearts to represent the bride and groom. On her card they are larger and the center of attention of the card, but I wanted to use that idea for my wedding card, so I added the little accent of the hearts to the side of the words. They are super easy to make, just punch or cut hearts in white (2) and black (1), cut the sides of one of the white hearts off to make the tuxedo vest shape. I then used a black sharpie marker and added dots and a little bow tie, then used pearls down the center of the white heart for the bride heart. Put them together and poof, a cute little bride and groom.

The bride's colors are yellow, so that is the reason for the yellow flower and the touch of yellow flowing in the card. All the papers in this card are cream or black cardstock, I then just used ink and stamps to create the newspaper look, the lace trim on the tag, and the yellow in the flower. I then just tucked some tulle and a couple of pearl pins behind the flowers, and done!!

Triangle Tri Fold Card: I used RSMobleys Designs, file RM000094 - Card Front Tags & More. I really like this file because of it's versatility. You can mix and match the layers to get some great effects.

This card is for a close family member whose tumor has returned. My mom called this weekend to let me know. This person has already went through so much the first time around.

I'm trying to use some of my scraps up since I have so much of it. Also, because this card is going to be mailed I did not use pop dots like I had wanted to. The post office seems to just crush the layers so I just glued them down. I also used Stickles for some bling for the same reason.

When a Sympathy Card Turns Into A Birthday Card RSMobley's RM00127

It's all about the color choices.
It's Amazing how just changing the colors on a card can drastically change the look and feel!

I made Sharon's sympathy card for someone using her RSMobley's RM00127. You can find the card here. If you haven't noticed yet I tend to lean towards bright colors so I had to make this card with some bright colors too. Because the cheery bright colors are not very appropriate for a sympathy card I changed the heading to Happy Birthday! I have a free svg download Happy Birthday file for you here.

This card is for my sons Aid, she has been with him for 6 years and is very special to our family. She is a second mother to my son and goes above and beyond her duties at school! I don't know what we are going to do without her for the upcoming school year. He will be going to the other side of the building and she won't be going along with him. There is a possibility she may loose her job because of all the budget cuts going on right now, if that happens the school is going to loose an amazing person. I don't say this because she is my sons aid but because of the person she is!

For the white circle I applied purple and pink chalk to the outer edges. I used a Recollections Stamp - Freedom Flowers, then colored the stamp with colored pencils. I then applied Stickles to the flower stamp.

The "thank you" sentiment is a Inkadinkadoo stamp. Stay tuned for the inside of the card which I can't show you just yet. LOL

RM00142-Easter Flower Collection and RM00146-Fancy Borders 3

Just love these borders, there is so much detail to them. Wanted to show you how small I cut them, they just cut beautifully even at this size. Also added a shadow layer to the border. I wanted to show you the full border before I had to cut it to fit on the card. I'm also going to show you how small I cut the Stamen for the Lily and as you can see that also cut wonderful. I love Sharon's files and not because I'm on her CT but because how great they cut even at very small sizes!

On the Lily I added a bit of homemade Glimmer Mist using hair spray and Pearl ex Powders in a small sprayer bottle. I used a Sizzix embossing folder, Flowers and Dots for the front panels on my card and some yellow Stickles on the center flowers of the border. Used an embossing folder for the sentiment on the circle along with a white Gel Pen for the faux stitching. I had wanted to use a medallion stamp with a sentiment in the center but those were the stamps I was having problems with.

Pink patterned card stock and green leaves are from the WaterColor Stack from K&CoMPANY, plain pink card stock, white card stock for card and box below the card. Gems from ACMoore's, 1$ packs.

I made this cute little box for RSMobley's Creative Team Border Project! She wanted us to use her borders in a project and this is what I came up with! I made the first one with rich colors. I wanted it to be elegant, but when I showed it to my fiancee he said it looked Christmasy(ya I made that word up) so of course I HAD to make another one! I used Borders RM00144 you can find the collection in this months May grab bag . I also used Sharon's awesome new Flower Blossom's Collection for the cute little flowers. I think this is one of my favorite collections for sure! I love every single flower in this collection!
Here is a free download for my mini box. I cut 2- 12" borders to wrap the box. If you know how to make the 2nd border only 2" then that's really all you need to wrap around the whole box.

Tool Stand

It had become a crack in one of our drinking glasses, I have now decorated, so that I don't run it in the dishwasher again and again.... before I got any tools in it. I Found it over and over again when I picked out the dish from the dishwasher. Now it no chance that that are happening again

I used a border from Grab Bag kit @Visual Design Services I also used a rest strip that I got between two borders on the bottom.

I have cut out two more, but not done anything with them yet... so keep looking after them in the near future...

Fancy Borders RM00145

I made this card for a lady I work with. I wanted to cheer her up a little and let her know that I think she is awesome. The cool borders are from RSMobleys Designs in this months Grab Bag. I used Cri-Kits gel pens for the inside and blinged it up with some gems. Little Miss Turtle is on a wobble.

I am glad to say that she loved the card.

Fancy Borders Card RM00146

Fancy Borders 3 by RSMobley Designs, RM00146. Created by MichelleMyBelle. They will be in the May Grab bag at the store.

I took one of the borders and joined it to a square to make the center for my card. I also used the Flowers and Mat from Sharon's Deepest Sympathy Lattice Card, RM00127. I used a CuttleBug embossing folder on the 2 side panels, Martha Stewart Gems on the flower border and the center of the flower.

For my sentiment (which I don't know what it will be yet) I used the Basic Shape Tool in MTC, the Stretch Hexagon and a punch for the leaves.

On the inside of the card I took one of the borders from the set and used the Bezier Warp Tool in MTC and Warped it. I could not get the border to close all the way, my fault, because I could not get the settings correct, not because of the border. I will master that tool yet. LOL I also created a Shadow Layer for the white mat.

Friend of Mine - RM00145

I used pictures of my friend's son and his first dog Goldie. They were playing around in the backyard and Dustin tried to ride him like a horse, so cute!!

Using a sketch from Pagemaps I created the fun layout above. I love to stitch on my layouts, it adds such a wonderful look to the page.

I also love to use layers of borders. I used a regular punch scallop border on the bottom, then a strip of Nikki Sivils umbrella paper, then and orange/yellow cardstock to cut the final border trim at the top using my Cricut and a cutter file.

I used these wonderful cutter files are from RS Mobley Designs (File # RM00145) to cut the border, I then took yarn and wove it through the holes in the cut border.

Flower Blossom Magnets

I made these awesome flower magnets using Flower Blossoms 1 from RSMobleys Designs. They turned out so super cute. Some of them are flocked, I also used some Viva Decor Paper Pens, Stickles, atyou Spica glitter pens, and American Crafts glitter markers. I used brads in the center of most of them. Some have pop dots to add dimension to the layers. I even made one into a layered cake with pop dots between the layers but it got destroyed before I could take a picture so I will reproduce it and post in a few days.

First off, I have to say that Sharon's files cut like butter! My Daffodil is very
small, just shy of 2 1/2 inches tall. So you can image how small the stamen had to
be cut. I was amazed that it cut and stayed in one piece and did not rip during the
cutting process, they are like fine hairs, LOL.

For my mat I used a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added some Glitter. I purchased some
Studio G at AC Moores (dollar bin) but I don't like the thick glue they use. The tip is also
not a fine tip so I could not get a good outline around the mat like I do when using Stickles,
which I like so much better. I added yellow Stickles to the outer edge center of the
cup of the flower.

The sentiment I typed using MTC and printed on my printer using Edwardian Script ITC, love that font.

I don't know why I chose this picture of Clay to put on this paper with Sharon's flowers but it came together kinda cute, I think. I LOVE that grin on Clay and that little beaver was holding a flower so I thought, WHY NOT! ROFLOL Sharon's file number for these three and many more is RM00143. I'm partial to the white on white on white on white flower but I also love the one the little bird is carrying on the top plus the one that the beaver is holding the stem...OH, I LOVE them ALL!!!! :D Thank you, Sharon for the creations and thank YOU for taking a look at my little man with his flowers all around him! :D

This layout is made for a friend. It is Easter day for her and her family and they met at a golf club with the kids. Such wonderful photos!!

I used the wonderful cutter files from RSMobley Designs. I made the eggs, bunny and the grass from one of her files (RM00099). Look at all the detail in these eggs, so delicate and pretty. I chose pastel colors to soften the look, but there are so many options with this file, even making them any size you want (I can just picture a card.........hmm maybe next project!!)

Every time I look at this bunny I think chocolate, yum......chocolate Easter bunnies, my favorite are the Cadbury milk chocolate ones :)

........and the final reveal...........I went for a clean look with pastel colors for Easter.

Easter Easel Card RM00099, RM00143 and RM00080

Hi everyone! I used 3 different collections with this little easel card.
Here are the following collections you will need.

1. April Easter RM00099 Here
2. Flower Blossoms 1 RM00143 Collection Here
3. May Flowers Collection RM00080 Here

What you will need in addition to RSMobley's collections
1. Cardstock and paper choices
2. Scissors
3. Scoring tool
4. Glue
5. Border punch
6. Pop Dots/Dimensionals
7. Ribbon
8. Hole Punch
9. Silver embossing powder
10. Embossing ink
11. Embossing heat tool
12. Paper trimmer
13. Dry embossing folder
14. Embossing machine like Cuttlebug or what ever you have will work! :)

To make the Easel card

1. Trim cardstock 8.5"x5.5" this will be your base for the easel card.
2. Score along the 8.5" side at 4 1/4" and 2 1/8". The picture below is what it should like after you score the paper.

3. Trim another piece of cardstock at 5.5" x 4.25" This will be the back that attaches to the cardstock. I prefer to use cardstock. This is the part that will be sitting upright so I like it to be strong to hold everything up nice and sturdy.

4. Trim another piece to go ontop of the 5.5"x 4.25" at 5 3/8" x 4 1/8". I like to dry emboss this piece to give the card some texture. Glue this piece ontop of your 5.5" x 4.25" piece.

5. You can glue your cardstock base to the 5.5" x 4.24" together now then embellish or what I like to do is put together everything first then glue to my card base. Here is a picture of where to glue your card base and what it should like.
Sorry my pictures are terrible I tried over and over to get some better pictures, but nothing was going right so this is it! :)

6. I like to trim a piece of paper to cover the front portion of the flat piece in front of the card. I like to cut a piece at 2.75 "x 5.5". Glue this down to the front bottom (This is the plain blue strip under the yellow strip in my picture).

7. Then choose another color or patterned paper cut at approx 1 7/8"+ x 5.5". Using your border punch, punch your design on both sides of the strip (this would be the yellow part in my pictures with the ribbon).

8. Take the piece you just punched and add ribbon or some embellishment to the top or leave plain. It's pretty just punched with a border punch too!

9. Get your dimensionals or pop dots (that's what I call them). Put one on each end then at least one in the center of the strip, but you can put as many as you would like!

10. Place this strip approx 1+ inches back from the front edge of the card. This will keep the easel up right! See my picture above to see how layered the strips if you are at all confused. But really it's super simple!

Now for what I did with RSMobley's Collections I sizes are with "Keep proportions" checked.

Blossoms collection-
1. I cut out the 5th flower in the Blossoms collection to create the Sun. I cut 1 at 3.63" and another at 3.05". I used basic shapes for the circle and cut that at 2.25". I put the smaller flower behind the larger flower so that it would like a sun.

Easter April Collection
1. Cut 2 strips of the grass at 5.42"
2. I sized the bunny to 2.13"x 3.37" (keeping proportions) and all the pieces of the bunny and sized them fit with that size.
3. I cut 6 stems and leaves. 4 at .75" and 2 at 1.25".

May Flowers Collection
1. I Cut the fence and gate at 5.55"
2. I cut the flowers at the standard size.

Basic fonts
I cut out the Happy Easter with Arial Black 1". Then I copied and pasted another set to make the shadow. I combined them together and did the Shadow blacked out.
A Few Little extras
1. I cut the right side off the fence at one side of the gate to create 2 pieces.
2. I punch out about 20 tiny circles and laminated them all together to create a knob for the fence.
3. I rolled the knob around in the embossing ink then embossed it with silver embossing powder then glued it to the fence. (see my picture above to see where and how I did this)
4. I used my pop dots on the grass to give the card more dimension.
I think that is about it! HAHA. This looks like a lot, but it really isn't much. Once you do one easel card they are a snap!

A Beautiful Spring Card

I made a S-fold card with a beautiful rainbow and pot of gold from RSMobleys Designs. I used March St. Patricks RM00098. The flowers on the front and back are from QuicKutz Nesting Flowers cookie cutter dies. I used the cutouts from the flowers and little raindrops. The bird and birdhouse is also a QuicKutz die. I used the Cuttlebug Build-a-Flower dies/embossing folder combo for the middle flower on metal from Cri-Kits. The sentiment is from Pink by Designs "Spring has Sprung" set.

This card makes me long for April Showers. I love taking walks in the rain and if I could carry a tune I would probably be singing but nobody wants to endure that. LOL

RM00142 Easter Flower Collection by Sue

I started off thinking I was going to make a LO with this but decided to put it on my seasonal tree instead. I LOVE daffodils for MANY reasons so I thought what else better to put on my Easter tree than a daffodil? So, I did! :) I curled the petals and leaves to make it more realistic looking. I'm going to make the rest in this collection but I wanted to show you my daffodil first. I used yellow and pink paper to make it. It cuts beautifully and assembles easily! Heck, even I figured it out. LOL Thanks Sharon for a gorgeous collection and thank YOU for taking a peak at it. BTW, you'll notice an egg with Clay's name on it next to the flower! ;)

Thinking of You Card by MichelleMyBelle, Using RM00108 Layout Elements 1 by RSMobleys Designs.

Created the card in Make The Cut. I took the largest bracket frame and duplicated it, welded the 2 shapes together to create the card base. Layered the bracket frames on the front of the card. I used Ice Stickles around the edge of the powder blue paper and I used a Cuttlebug Thinking of You Embossing folder, chalking the embossing. Also applied some Recollections Floral Embellishments and Mulberry Mini Roses to the front of the card.

For the inside of the card I layered 2 more of the bracket frames. I cut the smaller flower and applied some Stickles and added some flourishes.

I thought Bunny Bag 2 by Sharon was just TOO cute so I made up this treat bag for Clay! Now, silly person that I am, I put a brown bunny on a brown bag...DUH but I accented the bunny by stippling him with brown stampers ink and adding a cute little spring bow. Yeah, I know, pink bow for a boy's bag but oh well....I thought it was cute! :) Sorry about the sharp contrasting but I had to get it so you could SEE the bunny! The tail is cotton balls! :)

3D Easter Eggs RM00099

Here is my little 3D Easter egg design I made for the Creative Team with Sharon's April Easter Collection RM00099. You can find the collection Here.
These are so fun to make! Hope you like them!

Here is what you will need.

Easter Bunny collection
Scissors
Glitter
Glue
Paper

1. Cut 2 egg bases and 4 top layers any size you prefer them to be.
*You will need a top layer for both sides of each egg.
I made mine about 4.5"-6"and staggered them.

2. Adhere your design layers to your egg bases.
*tip*Make sure you cover the designed layers very well and evenly with glue because you will be cutting them and you don't want them the fray.

3. Cut both eggs like the photo above.
(I didn't show the top layer(design) already glued in the photos because it was hard to see where I cut the eggs with the design on top. You want to make sure that when you make this cut that the layers are already assembled)The cut should be half way down from the top of one and half way up from the bottom of the other. You want to cut a tiny piece out not just cut a slit. This will make the eggs sit better together especially if you decide to add glitter.

4. Cut off the bottom of each egg making sure they are even. This will allow the eggs to sit upright on their own and sit evenly on a table or plate.

5. After you have glued all the layers and made the cuts you can assemble them now or make them all pretty and sparkly with glitter.

If you do want to do the glitter here is what I did.
I used the Elmers craft bond adhesive spray on each side of the eggs to adhere the glitter and it worked alright. *tip*I recommend using an old box to spray in so you don't make a mess in your craft area. The spray adhesive is very messy if it isn't contained.
Then I sprinkled and tapped the glitter off and voile I was done!

I can't decide if I like this craft spray yet. I'm not sure if it holds as well as other methods. I will keep you posted on new and different glue methods.

If you don't like glitter because it's too messy have you tried embossing glitter? It is very pretty and glittery but not nearly as messy as standard glitter. When I want a more sugary glitter look I like use real glitter.
But the embossing glitter is super pretty too.

These would also be adorable with a hole punched in the top with some cute ribbon to dangle from something.

Bush Family Recipes - RM00076

I am making a recipe book for a wedding shower for a family member. It is a great idea, we all bring a recipe and then we make a scrap page with the recipe card and give her the book of all the pages. This page is the front cover of the book (her new last name is Bush).

I was taking pictures of my youngest son as he was playing around me, and this great shot came out of it!! I love the way the light hits his face and the beautiful look on his face. He is 13 months old in this picture.

All the flowers are made using this wonderful SVG file RM00090 (I used my Cricut and Make the Cut Program) from RSMobleys Designs.

You can make these flowers any size you like, just change the size of the picture in the cutter program. I made them 6 different sizes. I cut these flowers in brown and cream cardstock, and then for the cream colors I inked the edges in yellow and oranges hues, and for all of them I sprayed them in Peach glimmer mist. Bowl Box RM00090, RM00091

I used RSMobleysDesigns 3D Flowers Collection found Here and Fancy Butterfly Here.

I made the box with white card stock and inked all edges with InkADinkADoo Metallics Ink. I also used Stickles along the edges.While that was drying I cut out all the flowers, butterflies and squares for my box with my Expression. I put together the flowers and glued the leaves on. As the flowers were drying I then attached the squares to the inside of my box. I put together the butterflies and applied Stickles to them along with the flowers. While they were drying I attached the squares to the outside of my box. Except for the top of the box, I used Martha Stewart Cherished Hearts punch on the white card stock first and then used the punch on the designer paper and glued to the top of the box. I then attached all my flowers and butterflies to the outside of the box.

I used the 3D flower file (RM00090) the spiked flowers. I used craft paper as the bade for the flower, then used green smootch paint to color the inside part and then used a brown ink to tint the edges of the flowers. I made them in various sizes (5 total on this page). The design of the flower makes it great for a grunge flower, which I love for boy pages!!

Deepest Sympathy Lattice Card RM00127 RSMobleys Designs Here

I just love the versatility of this card. It includes the Deepest Sympathy sentiment but I needed a Thank You card. So I created the Thank You sentiment in Make The Cut and also a Shadow Layer. The font I used is Script MT Bold, I find myself using this font a lot.

For the flowers I re-sized one of the smaller flowers to make the darker purple centers. Then I applied some Stickles to them. Created a flower bud by taking one of the flowers and resizing it and trimming 2 of the petals off then forming a cup shape. I glued the sides together and applied them to my project. See below

I also used the Leaf Scroll from Birthday Thinking of You Card RM00130 Here
Scored the leaves with my McGill Stylus and shaped them a bit.

For another project, I made this adorable Bunny Bag for Clay for Easter. I'm going to fill it with all sorts of goodies and toys for him. I used a real lunch bag for mine because I wanted something big to fill for Clay. ;) This was SO easy to cut and assemble that I think I'm going to make more for my co-workers! TOOOOOO CUTE! This is my second project being on Sharon's CT. My dear, wonderful soul sister's birthday is this month and I certainly wanted to do something special for her, so, I also decided on Sharon's lovely birthday/thinking of you card #RM00130. It seems to be a popular card with good reason. You are only limited by your imagination in creating this card for someone special. I LOVE how the edge is shaped to match the vine/leaves. I think that really sets this card off big time. I "stitched" the words Happy Birthday with a purple gel pen and also the vines with a green metallic gel pen. I used brads for the center of the flowers and to dot the "i" in Birthday. I really don't care to glue on those little tiny dots so I usually go with something different. LOL

Happy St. Patricks Day Card RM00098

Here is my 2nd project for RSMobleys Designs Creative Team. I wanted to design a cute St. Patricks Day card for you guys to make. I used the March St. Patricks RM00098 file which you can find it Here. I started by using 2 pot of gold shapes and flipped one to mirror each other. I welded the two together to create a card. I then welded the rainbow to the top. This created the the base for the card. Next I cut out the different colors for the rainbow. The rainbow was HUGE so I just cut it off after I glued the pieces together. Then I cut another pot of gold and used clear Utee to make the pot look shiny. I only did one layer of Utee so it gave it some neat texture rather then a perfectly smooth texture. I used Zig glue all over the top of the rainbow then sprinkled clear glitter on top. Then using basic shapes in SCAL I cut out a few little circles and ovals to emboss with gold embossing powder to make them look like gold coins! I adhered most of the coins with little mini pop dots to give more dimension. I think that is it, if you have any other questions please let me know I will try and answer them for you!

I have this beautiful paper pack from K & CoMPANY by Brenda Walton. I challenged my self to use all patterned paper except for the solid pink flower. I love how it turned out. LOL

I resized the leaf scroll smaller and cut the ends off and added them to the top left corner with an additional flower. I used pop dots on the sentiment to add a little dimension.

March St Patricks Day RM00098 Luminary

I made a little luminary for you guys for my very first creative team project. I used March St. Patricks Day Collection you can find it right Here .
At first I was just going to use the pot of gold, but when I showed it to my fiancee he asked "where the rainbow was" so I decided I had to design a rainbow.

It was an adventure after I decided to design the rainbow. I had to figure out how to get the rainbow to look pretty, be some what sheer and still look good with a tiny battery operated tea light. Through trial and error I finally figured out how to do it for you guys. First I started with just vellum rainbow strips that I cut out with Sharon's file March St. Patricks RM00098 file. If you haven't seen it go check it out here it's so cute. I added a rainbow array of Stickles(glitter glue) to the top of the vellum rainbow strips thinking it would be glittery and sparkly when the candle was lit, but let me tell you now that DOES NOT WORK! So what I did was use LePlume markers (I think any marker will work) to color the back side of the vellum. The markers gave it a more vibrant rainbow affect. Just what I was looking for. I also used a light gold ink by Dew Drops to ink the vellum under the gold stickles on the pot of gold to give it a more golden glow when the candle is lit. Also I embossed the 3 leaf clovers, inked them to give them dimension then added stickles to give them some sparkle. I used lots and lots of stickles and glitter! You can't go wrong sparkle.

My name is Michelle aka MichelleMyBelle. I'm a stay at home mom, married with 2 children. My oldest son is 29 and was married in 2009. I also have a 10 year old boy who soon will be 11 and is a special needs child. As you can imagine my life is very full and my outlet from all of this is doing some sort of crafting.

I started Digital Scrapbooking in 2005 and loved it because all of my supplies were on the computer. No more messes to deal with. It has progressed so much over the last couple years since I'd first started. I joined a CT Team in 2007 and really enjoyed working with everyone plus all that went along with it. It was a great experience! Then I found myself doing more and more Hybrid projects and I really missed playing with paper. LOL

So a little over a year ago I found the Make The Cut program and purchased my first cutting machine, a Cricut Expression. I had always wanted one but just did not want to spend all that money on cartridges. I own a select few some that I spent less than $17 on through E-bay plus the ones that were bundled with my machine. What I really wanted was to have the ability to create my own designs and use almost any font. I also have so many templates both in Paper and Digital that I'm slowly converting.

Recently, I created a new blog for just my projects. Many had been asking if I had one which I did but it was more of a personal one,for staying in touch with famiy out of state. It still needs more work and I will be updating it as I go along.

Well, I think that is about it. I'm looking forward to working with the CT team and Sharon.

Hi there! My name is Sue Shaff and I have the honor of being on Sharon’s Creative Team for the next term.

My passions are, besides my darling husband of 8 years, my precious fur baby, Muffin, one inside cat, and 23 outside cats, is paper crafting! My husband got me a craft robo for my birthday a few years back and I had no idea what it was let alone realize I wanted one. I learned the program and that started my passion for scrapbooking and card making. I live in northern Indiana on 80 acres. Forty acres farmed, 5 acres livable and the rest woods.

I joined VDBC a few years back and discovered that Sharon was one of my favorite designers due to her ability to create so many vast themes of files.

I have two grown children and two incredible grandchildren. My youngest grandson is the light of my life. My granddaughter lives in Texas and I’ve only seen her once in her young life of 5 years. I’m around Clay, my DGS, at least once a month as they live about 3 hours from my home. I was present at his birth so he holds a very dear spot in my heart and life!

I also love to crochet, flower arrange, garden and being a Grandma! I’m going to love being on Sharon’s team. This is really exciting!!!!!!!

My name is Gloria aka OmaGloria (Oma is German for grandma). I am married to a very understanding man who allows my obsessions. We have 1 daughter, 2 grandkids and 1 on the way. We have 4 generations living under the same roof. Our daughter and grandkids moved back home October of 2010 and January 2011 my parents moved in with us. I have been crafting every since I can remember and found paper crafting around August 2010. I was immediately hooked. My 2 crafty loves are paper and fibers. My name is Marie and I live I Sweden, I have always had a strong interest in creating with color’s … I has painted pottery for many years but since September 2007 I turned to paper crafting it easier to find any ware. I find out really fast that I was addicted to stamps… Another specific thing about me are the when I’m crafting I listening to audio books or watch TV and movies at the same time.

I am married and have two children a girl born 1998 and a boy born 2000. The boy has Down’s syndrome. I have dyslexia, so I,m sure I going to drop a letter now and then ... and even misspell but I cannot help it THAT IS ME! I love American football and my team is the STEELERS!

Hello, I hope you enjoy Sharon’s talent as much as I- to be a creative consultant for her team is a huge honor. I am a SAHW and Mimi to 5 grandchildren who give me much pleasure and untold opportunities to play with all my crafting interests. I have been crafting all my life, following in my grandmother’s footsteps. Scrapbooking, stamping, and mixed media arts allow me to make a huge mess in my “room” which is home to a Cricut, lots of paint and the ever present bling. I am a certified Copic designer and have taught classes for various companies and products. When I’m not crafting, I’m traveling, reading or canning jams and jellies.

I started scrapbooking in 2006 for my oldest son’s baby book, I did a few pages and did the odd weekend event. Then in 2009 I stopped teaching high school science and became a stay at home mom pregnant with my third child and used scrapbooking as my escape and time of peace. I was hooked and never looked back. I would say my style is distressed, romantic, and shabby chic, but I also love to dabble in other areas for a change of pace. Most of my pages are of my kids, but I am starting to try and make some of other subjects too. I love to find new uses for products, create tutorials, make embellishments by hand, and share my knowledge with others. I love the social interaction of the on-line and in person scrapbooking network. I am always looking for the latest products and techniques, and thinking of what my next project is going to be.
